Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was R—on the
5th day of October 19 81 . The following members
were present:Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils. Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 720
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INCLUSION OF BASS LAKE
AND GLEASON LAKE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION AS ADDITIONAL
INSURED TO THE CITY'S GENERAL LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY
WHEREAS, the Bass Lake and Gleason Lake Homeowners Association desire to
install and maintain aeration devices in Bass Lake and Gleason Lake
respectively; and
WHEREAS, each Association warrants that it is in full compliance with the
requirements of the Department of Natural Resources and the National Elect-
rical Code; and
WHEREAS, the installation of such devices helps to maintain the natural
ecology of the lake and preserve the community's natural resources; and
WHEREAS, each Association warrants that it will continuously and faithfully
monitor the required safety barriers surrounding each site, make repairs as
required therein and report the condition of such barriers to the City on a
bi-weekly basis;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does grant coverage to the
Bass Lake Homeonwers Association and Gleason Lake Homeowners Association
under the City's General Liability Policy for the year October 1, 1981 to
October 1, 1982 for this purpose exclusively; and
FURTHER, that such coverage shall automatically terminate in the event that
the responsibilities and conditions outlined above are not continuously
honored during this time.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
CoupLilmembgg Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereo : ror Davenoort, Counilmembers Hoyt, Neil s.Schneider
The following voted against or a6—stained: none & Threinen
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
