HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-708CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re lar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of October , 1981 . The following members were Present: neider and Threinen . The follow ng mem5ers were a sen : Dane f+� *•r ttMir r Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 708 ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON CO. RD. 61 FROM 26TH AVE. TO W. MEDICINE LAKE DR. AND XENIUM LANE FROM CO. RD. 61 TO 200' NORTH OF 34TH AVE. PROJECT NO. 205 WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Co. Rd. 61 from 26th Ave. to W. Medicine Lake Dr. and Xenium Lane from Co. Rd. 61 to 200' north of 34th Ave. by the installation of a 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and including full grading, gravel base, bituminous surface, all necessary drainage facilities, sanitary sewer, watermain and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, property benefited by such projects will be assessed for all or a portion of the cost of such improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed improvements be referred to Strgar-Roscoe, Inc. for study and that the engineers be instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether it should be best made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of such an improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils Schneider and Threinen The following voted against orabstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
