Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
5th day of October , 19 81. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Nils Schneider and 1hr inen .
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-706
RESOLUTION OF CONCURRENCE
TURN BACK OF CO. RD. 15
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the
City of Plymouth concurs with the revocation of County State Aid Highway 15 in
the City of Plymouth from the intersection with County Road 73 easterly to the
intersection with Trunk Highway 55, and there terminating, as described in the
Department of Transportation Commissioner's Order No. 27368 dated April 15, 1958;
and that this roadway be returned to the City of Plymouth to be under the City's
jurisdiction as a local street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revocation shall not be effective until the
County has resurfaced the existing roadway with a bituminous overlay thirty-six
feet in width, restriped the centerline and edge lines and cleaned all culverts
within the right-of-way.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Mayor Daven ort, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted n favor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Schneider
and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: Coun ilmembers Hoyt and Neils
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
