HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-696CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heldon he 5th day of October 19_&. The following members were present: Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-696 REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 8 AND FINAL VICKSBURG LANE/C0. RD. 6 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PROJECT NO. 002 AND 950 WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Progressive Contractors, Inc. as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Vicksburg Lane/Co. Rd. 6 Improvement Project, said agreement being dated July 8, 1980; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the final request for payment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $1,229,828.20, four change orders in the amount of $33,945.50 were approved, and the value of the work to date is $1,285,516.55. 2. That the work perforemd by the contractor for Project No. 002 and 950 and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and corrections of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 8 and Final in the amount of $6,427.59 to Progressive Contractors, Inc. for Project 002 and 950 is hereby approved and the city finance director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by 1hrginen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor ereo Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Ho.Xt, Neils, The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
