Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its a pt on:
RESOLUTION NO. 81 - 670
THE DEFERRAL OF SENIOR CITIZENS SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes provides for the deferrment of special assessments
and specifies the conditions under which municipalities are authorized to
defer such assessments, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plymouth finds and determines that
deferral of special assessments for certain senior citizens is in the public
Interest, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a deferred special assessment policy
for qualified applicants,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA does hereby approve the deferral of annual installments on all assessments
certified for collection as recommended by the Finance Director.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution ryas du!j seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo n favor thereof; -Acting Mayor Neils. Councilmembers Hoyt_
Schneider and Threinen ,
