Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
8th day of September , 1981 . The following members

moved Its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-589
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 8 AND FINAL
LARCH LANE IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 802
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Jerome Begin Contracting Co. as
contractor have entered into an agreement for the Larch Lane Improvements,
said agreement being dated November 15, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval
of the final request for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $424,997.60, two change orders
in the amount of $23,845.00 were approved, and the value of the work
to date is $443,965.76.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Project No. 802, Larch
Lane Improvements, and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable
be and the same is hereby released from the contract except as to the
conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner,
required guarantees and corrections of faulty work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 8 and Final in tha ariuunt of $9,644.66 to Jerome
Begin Contracting Co. for Project No. 801':, Larch Lane Improvements, is hereby
approved and the city finance director is hereby authorized and directed to
pay the same forthwith.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,
Schneider and Threinen .
