Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
Ath day of September , 19 81 . The following members
were present:Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils. Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none

moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. Pi- 583
DECLARING ADEQUACY 0'PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATI)N OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - ZACHARY HILLS 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Marvin H. Anderson Construction Co.
requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the 7achary
Hills 2nd Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Zachary Hills 2nd Addition
by the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with
the City Council on September 8, 1981, is hereby declared to be signed by
the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 420.035.
2. The petition is signed by 1002 of the affected property owners and they
have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment
hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenofrrt, Loan.Si lmcmbgrsHoyt N,6 ei Is

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
