Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a soecill meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
8th day of September , 19 81 . The following members
were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Thrq'inen
The following membe' rs were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Pesolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-581
ACCEPTING PETITION FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
PROPOSED BOSSMAN ADDITION
WHEREAS, the owner of the proposed Bossman Addition has petitioned the City
to construct the public improvements on 31st Avenue in the proposed Bossman
Addition; and
WHEREAS, it is also in the public interest that 31st Avenue should be improved
from the south line of the addition to Timber Creek Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The City Council accepts the petition from the owners of the proposed
Bossman Addition for the street improvements as outlined in the petition.
2. That additional street improvements extending 31st Avenue to Timber Creek
Addition shall also be included in a preliminary engineering report.
3. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. is hereby directed to
prepare a study and that they are instructed to report to the Council with
all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is feasible and the estimated cost of the improvement.
The proposed study shall include street, sanitary sewer and water services and
storm sewer and be divided into the following segments:
Part I - 31st Avenue within proposed Bossman Addition
Part II - 31st Avenue from the south line of proposed Bossman
Addition to Timber Creek Addition
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t . and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor ereo 14ayor Davenport, CoLncilmembers, Hoyt, Neil -
Schneider and Threinen
The following voied against orabstained: none
Nbereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
