HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-580CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetino of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 8th day of September , 19 81. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen . The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 580 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT PROJECT 829 PILGRIM LANE WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 4, 1980, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 1. Pilgrim Lane from 28th Avenue to 32nd Avenue North by the installation of watermain laterals and trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed supplemental assessment to correct the error in the property identification number has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 28th day of September, 1981 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such pro- posed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owenr of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vofR in favor ereo Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
