Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meetinn_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was heTJ —on the
8th day of September , 19 81. The following memoers were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen .
The following members were absent: none
. Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 576
CALLING HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
DELINQUENT SANITARY SEb1ER AND MATER SERVICE CHARGES
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 8. 1981, the City
Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment for certa r charges for
sanitary sewer and water service which have not been paid as provided by law;
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
now been completed and filed in the Clerk's office for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A public hearing shall be held on the 28th day of September, 1981 in the
City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such
improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to
such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of hearing on the
proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total
cosi, of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be
giyen to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
