ouncilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 573
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
FOR THE REMOVAL OF DISEASED TREES
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provision of Section 18.023 M.S.A. and Chapter XX,
Section 2020.13 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, the City
Manager of the City of Plymouth has caused the destruction and removal of
diseased trees on certain lands within the City of Plymouth, and a determina-
tion has been made, as provided by law, and the total amount of such work
including costs incurred is in the amount of $14,238.68, and of this cost the
City will pay $0.00 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $14,238.68.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for
such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land within the district affected withoull regard to cash valuation
as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such pro-
posed assessment in the Clerk's office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessmeot,
notify the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon. the
