The following members ,ers Hoyt—,-Reils, Schneider and Threinen none Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its a opt on: RESOLUTION NO. 81-569 RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISED PENSION BENEFITS AND BYLAWS FOR THE PLYMOUTH VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS RELIEF ASSOCIATION WHEREAS, Officers of the Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters Relief Association have approached the City Manager for revisions in the Bylaws and pension benefits available to Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters, and WHEREAS, The City Manager has prepared a report and revised Bylaws incorporating certain revisions to the Bylaws and pension benefits, and WHEREAS, the City Council discussed the proposed Bylaws and pension revisions and considered the actuarial ramifications which such revisions entail, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reached general concurrence regarding the level of pension benefit and bylaw revisions to be made; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the revised pension program and Bylaws dated September 8, 1981 for the Plymouth Volunteer Firefighters Relief Association, and FURTHER, that the approved Bylaws and revised pension program shall become effective October 1, 1981, and FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute said Bylaws on behalf of the City. ' The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ho t 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the Tollowing voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembpre.
