The following members were present:MUor Davenport, Councilmem ers Hovt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-553 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 022 AMHURST 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 24, 1981, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: I. 46th Avenue from Upland Lane to 45th Avenue 2. Terraceview Lane from 56th Avenue to 130 feet,more or less, south of 45th Avenue North 3. 45th Avenue from Terraceview Lane to 46th Avenue 4. Ranchview Lane from 46th Avenue south by the installation of bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. A hearing shall be held on the 21st day of September, 1981, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Nei1 and upon vote being taken thereon, the follow ng voted n 3favor ereo ! Mayor Davenaort, Councilmembers Hoyt Neils, Schneider and Thre'ne The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
