Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he—Td ori the
24th day of August , 19_U. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neils. Schneider and ThrainaLL.
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-550
RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 007
10TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 24, 1981, the City Clerk
was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following
improvements:
1. 10th Avenue from Nathan Lane west 1315.49 feet
by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer lateral, bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances;
and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Luuncil that such proposed assessment "-as been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 21st day of September, 1981, in the City
Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard,
Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment
and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such
improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to
such assessment.
2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on
the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at
least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall state in the notice the
total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice
to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt. Neilsy
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
