HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-549CITY OF rLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of August , 19ilL. The following members were present:M or Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and move its adopt on: RESOLUTION NO. 81-549 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 005 LARCH LANE CU;_ -DE -SAC WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 24, 1981, the City Clc--k was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the following improvements: 1. Larch Lane cul-de-sac from Larch Lane south by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer laterals, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 21st day of September, 1981, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the eharing, and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Coi , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayo Davenijnrt - Cnunrilmpmhprc HnrtNail Schn i' The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
