Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
24th day of August , 19.11. The following members were
present: M or Davenport, CouncilmembersHoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 544
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT 904 - 49TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
I. 51st Avenue from County Road 18 to 880 feet west of Nathan Lane
2. 49th Avenue from County Road 18 to 1310 feet west of Nathan Lane
3. 48th Avenue from Nathan Lane west to its terminus
4. Pilgrim Lane, north of 48th Avenue
5. Orleans Lane from 48th, north to its terminus
6. Nathan Lane from the Soo Line Railroad to a point 860 feet north
of 45th Avenue
by the installation of watermain laterals, sanitary sewer lateral, storm sewer,
bituminous street with concrete curb and autter, and all necessary appurtenances,
and the contract price for such improvement is $344,418.90, and the expenses
incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $77,408.56,
so the total cost of the improvement will be $421,827.46, and of this cost the
City will pay $7,334.61 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $414,492.85.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forth-
with calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such
improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within
the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided
by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office
of the Clerk for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmemherc HnXt; Nail-,,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
