HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-542CITY OF PLYMOM Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 24th day of Au4ust , 19 81. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen ire 'Blowing members were sent: none Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-542 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 013 FABER PLACE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. 29th Avenue from Medicine Lake Drive West, east to its terminus 2. 29th Avenue from Medicine Lake Drive West to Oakview Lane 3. Norwood Lane from 29th Avenue, south to its terminus 4. Oakview Lane from 39th AVenue, north to its terminus 5. 30th Avenue from Oakview Lane to Medicine Lake Drive West 6. Norwood Lane from 30th Avenue, south to its terminus 7. Medicine Lake Drive West from 30th Avenue to 28th Avenue 8. 30th Avenue from Medicine Lake Drive West to Larch Lane 9. Larch Lane from 30th Avenue, north and south by the installation of watermain lateral, sanitary sewer lateral, trunk facilities, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, bike path and turn lanes, and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improve- ment is $106,991.14, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $29,659.49, so the total cost of the improvement will be $136,650.63, and of this cost the City will pay $7,995.00 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. ,The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $128,655.63. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Sanitary Sewer Residential: $600.00 per acre or $300.00 per 112 acre Resolution No. 81-542 Page 2 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assess- ment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CouncilmembeC Ails , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Oavenport Councilmembers Hoyt Neils_ Schneider and Threingn_ The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
