The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, ounc lmem ers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen . The following members were absent-- none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-535 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJCrT 916 SHEDD BROWN/HONEeWELL, INC. WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. Forestview Lane from T.H. 55 to 9th Ave. 2. Watermain from Forestview Lane to County Road 15 by the installation of watermain lateral, sanitary sewer lateral, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $122,013.11, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $24,744.89, so the total cost of the improvement will be $146,758.00, and of this cost the City will pay $29,300.84 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $117,457.16. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilitites for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Commercial: $1425 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �oupcilmpmbqr Neil, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted n favor there- _ Mayor Davpnnnrt- Cnnnrilmemharc Hey^ Neils, The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
