Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of
Aunust , 19 81. The following members were present:liayor Davenport,
o ncilmembers Hoyt, Neils, Schneider and Threinen
The a lowing members were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-526
ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS
PROJECT 008
PIKE LAKE INTERCEPTOR SE41ER AND WATEP.MAIN
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required ty law, the Council has
met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for the
following improvement:
1. The installation of ,'v� Pike Lake Interceptor Sewer from the existing
lift station near 60-;.1. Avenue and Goldenrod Lane (Point 31 on the
Comprehensive Sewer Plan) easterly approximately 3700 feet
2. Watermain along County Road 10 from Deerwood Lane to Revere Lane
by the installation of watermain laterals and sanitary �ever laterals and all
necessary i,�)purtenances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the s;ecial assessment against
the lands named therein and each tract of land therein included is hereby
found to ')e benefited by the proposed improvement in tle amount of the assess-
ment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over
a period of 5 years, the first of the installments to he payable on or before
the first Monday in January, 1982, and shall bear interest at �.he rate of 8.381
per annum from the date of the adoption of this Assessment Resolution. To the
first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the
date of this Resolution until December 31, 1982. To each subsequent installment
when due shall be added interest for one year on all arpaid installments.

3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification
of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assess-
ment on such property with interest accrued to the date of pa,"ent to the City
Finance Director, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assess-
ment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this Resolution; and he may at
any time thereafter pay the City Finance Dirertnr the entire amount of the
assessment remaining unpaid with interest accrued to December 31 of the year
in which such payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to
the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County
and such assessments shall be collected and paid over in the same manner as
other municipal taxes.
5. The total cost of the improvement assessed by this Resolution is:
Sanitary sewer lateral $ 88,018.19
Water lateral 30,961.60
Total $118,979.79
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
