�er Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 81-521
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY COUNCIL POLICY FOR
DEFERMENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT AGAINST OWNER -OCCUPIED
HOMESTEAD PROPERTY OF PERSONS OVER 65 YEARS OF AGE
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth considers requests for deferment of assessments
upon homestead property owned by persons 65 years of age or older; and
WHEREAS, tho City Council has established a policy and procedure through
which such deferments can take place; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to keep realistic income limits associated
with the program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does:
1. Revise the gross income limits for qualifying to the deferred
special assessment program from $11,750 to $12,600.
2. The following sentence shall be inserted:
"The gross income limit for this program shall be reviewed
periodically by the City Council, normally on or about
August 1 in conjunction with the review of income guide-
lines for the Housing Redevelopment Authority Home Improve-
ment Grant Program."
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
