HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-510CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of August 19 81. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt. The following members were absent: none Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 510 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - GARLAND AND FOUNTAIN LANE WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting at the intersection of Garland and Fountain Lane: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the intersection of Garland and Fountain Lane filed with the City Council on August 17, 1981 is herewith received. 2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will require public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
