Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 509
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF 6TH AVENUE IN WAYZATA FARMSTEADS ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Joseph Sorrentino has petitioned the City
Council for a vacation of the following street:
All that part of 6th Avenue adjacent to the Northerly side of Lot 16,
Wayzata Farmsteads Addition described as follows:
That part of 6th Avenue North originally dedicated in the plat of
"Wayzata Farmsteads," according to the recorded plat thereof, lying
East of the Northerly extension of the West line of Lot 16, said
"Wayzata Farmsteads," and Westerly of the Northerly extension of the
Easterly line of said Lot 16, except
A permanent street and utility easement over, under, across and
through that part of the above-described parcel which is inside a
60 foot radius circle, the radius point of which is located on the
centerline of Queensland Lane, 60 feet South of the South line of
the Fazendin-Krogness Addition, as measured along the centerline of
Queensland Lane,
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THL CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, �stablish the date of September 21,
1981 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided
by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Neils,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
