Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinc of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, -Minnesota was held—on the
1b17th day of August , 19__U. The following members were

Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
move its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 508
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A DRAINAGE AND PONDING EASEMENT IN SOUTH SHORE ESTATES APARTMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Dominium Group, Inc. has petitioned the
City Council for a vacation of the following drainage and ponding easement:
DESCRIPTION OF PARCEL
That part of the South 15 acres of the Northwest ; of the Northwest 1;
of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota
described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of Tract A,
Registered Land Survey No. 694; thence northeasterly along the centerline
of South Shore Drive a distance of 268.00 feet to the actual point of
beginning; thence northwesterly at right angles 200.00 feet; thence
southwesterly to a point in the northerly extension of the west line
of said Tract A distance 114.48 feet north from the northwest corner
thereof; thence south to the southwest corner of said Tract A; thence
west to the southwest corner of the south 15 acres of the Northwest
of the Northwest 'a; thence north Lo Lhe norLhwesL corner oL Said south
15 acres; thence east along the north line thereof to the centerline
of South Shore Drive; thence Southwesterly to the point of beginning;
uxcept the road.
Together with the east 30.00 feet of the south 497.00 feet, as measured
at right angles to the east and south lines of the Northeast t; of the
Northeast ; of Section 35, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
DESCRIPTION OF EASEMENT: A permanent easement for drainage and ponding purposes over,
under, across and through that portion of the above described parcel described as
follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of this oparcel; thence easterly a
distance of 127.5 feet; thence Southwesterly at a 65 angle for a distance of 195 feet;
thence directly west for a distance of 65.625 feet; thence northerly along western
boundary line of this parcel for a distance of 187.5 feet to the point of beginning.
A permanent easement for drainage and ponding purposes is also granted to any part of
the creek bed, which runs through the western side, which lies below the high water
contour elevation of 890.2.
AND, !*HEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to be in
. order;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of September 21,
1981 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing on said petition and
directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by
law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor�^•avenport, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Neils, Schneider and Threinen _
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
