the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the
17th day of August , 19 81 . The following members
were present:_Mayor Davenport, Cound 1 members Hoyt—, -Veils, Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: none
Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 498
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
LAURIE HOUK AS CITY CLERK,
WHEREAS, current City Clerk Loretta Garrity is leaving city employment
effective August 21, 1981; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for a new clerk to be appointed for the purpose
of maintaining the official records of the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plymouth, that Laurie Houk be and the same is herby appointed City
Clerk for the City of Plymouth effective August 24, 13.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
followlng voted 1n favor thereof, Mavor Davenport, Councilmember Hnyt, Npi'c
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted aga nst or abstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
