Hoyt ana Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmembers Nei is and 1hrelnen Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-494 A RESOLUTION APPROVING PIANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR EAST MEDICINE LAKE BEACH WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Counc " has approved concept plans for East. Medicine Lake Beach, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Council has requested the planning firm of B.R.W. to prepare plans and specifications for improvements to East Medicine Lake Beach park, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifi- cations. The advertisement shall he published three times, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the City Clerk until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 1981, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check peyable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ounc'lmember Schneider and upon vote being taken thereon, the Tot ow ng voted in favor thereof: Mavor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider The o ow ng voted against or abstained- Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopte .
