HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-482CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meetiry of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of August , 19 81. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmem_bers Hoyt and Schneider The following members were absent: Councilmembers Neils and Threinen Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its a option: RESOLUTION N0, 81- 482 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT STREET LIGHTING - FABER PLACE ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Henry Faber, Charlotte Faber and Dick Pouliot requesting installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Faber Place Addition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Faber Place Addition by the instllation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on August 3, 1981, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declara- tion is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 420.035. 2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
