The following members were pres— ent:�i or Davenport, Gounc imembers Ho and Schneider The following members were absent: councilmembers Neils and Threine13 Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-474 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 008 - PIKE LAKE TRUNK SEWER AND WATERMAIN WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. The installation of the Pike Lake Interceptor Sewer from the existing lift station near 60th Avenue and Goldenrod Lane (Point 31 on the Compre- hensive Sewer Plan) easterly approximately 3700 feet and County Road 10 from Deerwood Lane to Revere Lane by the installation of watermain and sanitary sewer trunk facilities and sanitary Fewer and water lateral and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $190,324.23, and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $44,998.10, so the total cost of the improve- ment will be $235,322.33, and of this cost the City will pay $116,324.54 as its share of the cost; 10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $118,979.79. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities and sanitary sewer trunk facilities for the above refer- enced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning. Water Area Water Connection Charge Residential/Park: $600.00 per acre Residential/Park: $375.00 per acre Sanitary Sewer Area Sewer Connection Charge Residential/Park: $600.00 per acre Residential/Park: $250.00 per acre 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calcu- late the propoer amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, with- out regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk sahll, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo avor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt and Schneider The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
