The following members were present: Ma or Davenport. Councilmembera The following members were absent: Councilmemhars Nails and Thrainan Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-473 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 702 23RD AVENUE WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1. 23rd Avenue from Fernbrook Lane to 700 feet east of Niagara Lane by the installation of watermain lateral, sanitary sewer service, bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $316,394.54, and the expenses inclurred or to be incurred in the making of such improvement amount to $54,892.85, so the total cost of the improvement will be $371,287.39, and of this cost the City will pay $31,930.21 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of st.-Ai improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to :,e $339,357.18. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by idw, and shall file a copy of such proposed assess- ment in the office of the Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by �ou�_n� i r hn , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted to favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Cnunrilmamhers Hnyt and Schneider . The following voted against or abstained: Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
