Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was he don the

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 465
RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PROPOSED PROJECT UNDER THE
MINNESOTA MUNICIPAL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT ACT
WHEREAS, Whittar Industries, Ltd., a Minnesota limited partnership (the "Company")
has proposed that the City undertake and finance a project under the Municipal
Industrial Development Act, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 474 (the "Act"); and
WHEREAS, the Act, as amended, requires that a public hearing on the proposed
project be conducted by the Council before any action may be taken by it relative
to the proposed project:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth:
1. This Council shall meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8,
1981 to conduct a public hearing on the proposed project
requested by the Company and to take whatever action in
relation thereto as it deems appropriate.
2. The City Clerk is atuhorized and directed to publish notice
of hearing in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A once
in the official newspaper and once in the Minneapolis Star,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City, not less
than 15 days prior to September 8, 1981.
The motion for the adaption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereo : Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt and
Schneider
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
EXHIBIT A
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota will meet in the Council Chambers in the City Center in the
City of Plymouth at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 1981, to conduct
a public hearing on a proposal that the City undertake and finance a
project under the Municipal Industrial Development Act, Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 474.
The project is proposed by Whittar Industries, Ltd., (the "Company") and
consists of the constriction and equipping of an expansion of the Juster
Steel Service Center operated by the Company at 625 Xenium Lane in the
City. The principal amount of bonds or other obligations proposed to be
issued by the City to finance the project is estimated to be not in excess
of $3,200,000.
A draft copy of a proposed application to the Minnesota Commissioner of
Securities and Real Estate, together with all attachments and exhibits
thereto, is available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk
in the Center Center, City of Plymouth, Minnesota during regular City business
hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.i. daily, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays).
Any person wishing to express a view with respect to the proposal to undertake
and finance the project will be heard at the public hearing.
