Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meetino_ of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. Minnesota was held on the
_ 20th day of July . 19 81. The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hot Neils Schneider and Threinen.
The following memoirs were absent: none
Councilmember tojt introduced the following Resolution and
roved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-461
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - HARRISON HILLS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from Harrison Hills, Inc. requesting
installation of ornamental residential street lighting in the Harrison Hills
Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Harrison Hills Addition by
the installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with with
City Council on July 20, 1981, is hereby declared to be signed by the
required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration
is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 420.035.
2. The petition is signed by 100% of the affected property owners and they have
waived their rights to public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
