HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-447CI7Y OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino_ of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of July , I9_&L. The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, The following members were absent: none Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81- 447 SETTING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING DUNKIRK LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the Developer has not provided an adequate gravel roadway on Dunkirk Lane starting 2200 feet south of County Road 47, and WHEREAS, upgrading of the existing roadway is needed to provide a two lane rural roadway, including full grading, gravel surface, drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reported on the cost of the needed improvements, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance ith the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $31,670.00. 2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 3rd day of August, 1981 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
