Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth. M nnesota, was he on the
22nd day of June , 19 81 The following members

QWncilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 389
RESOLUTION ADOPTING GUIDELINES FOR PROCESSING
REQUESTS FOR STOP SIGNS
WHEREAS, resident requests for stop sign installation has increased to almost
one per week; and
WHEREAS, since Plymouth is a growing community this trend is likely to continue
and;
WHEREAS, the Council desires to adopt a uniform method which uses rational
criteria to evaluate such requests;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does adopt a policy dated June 22, 1981,
establishing guidelines for staff and Council review of resident requests for
stop sign installation.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof: Acting Mavor Neils. Councilmembers Hoyt.
The following voted against orabstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
