HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-367CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinn_ of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he d on the 15th day of June 1981 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Ho t Schneider and Threinen The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils oVncilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-367 ORDERING PROJECT - STREET LIGHTING SYCAMORE LANE - 6TH AVENUE TO WINDEMERE DRIVE WHEREAS, Resolution No. 81-329 of the City Council, adopted the 18th day of May, 1981, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to street lighting improve- ments in Sycamore Lane - 6th Avenue to Windemere Drive; and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of ornamental residential street lights Sycamore Lane - 6th Avenue to Windemere Drive; and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 15th day of June, 1981, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity 10 to be heard thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council Resolution adopted May 18, 1981, except the proposed light at the intersection of Windemere Drive and Sycamore Lane shall be deleted. 2. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improve- ment. He shall coordinate the work which will be done by Northern States Power Company. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor ereo : Mayor Davenport, Council members Hovt, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
