The following members were present:—Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers H n The following members were absent: none Councilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and movl�e its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-360 REDUCTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS LEVY NO. 7658 WHEREAS, pursuant to the adoption of Resolution No. 80-582-A, special assessments were levied by the City Council for Project No. 829, Ridgecrest Area Street and Utilities; and WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources has determined that a portion of the assessed property is a wetland and cannot be developed; and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth will abate the assessments on the wetland and defer them until the property is removed from the wetland classification; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the assessments be reduced for the following amounts as they apply to parcel 24-118-22-31-0006: Sewer Water Water Lateral Lateral Area Total Original Assessment $6,928.00 $5,800.00 $4,113.50 $16,841.50 Revised Assessment 3,464.00 2,900.00 3,325.00 9,689.00 2. That the revised assessments shall be spread over the remainder of years and at the interest rate applicable to Levy No. 7658 with the first installment payable on or before the first Monday in January, 1982. 3. That the City is to reimburse to the affected property owner the difference between the new and old rate of assessment for all prior year installments plus interest at the rate of 8% per year that have been paid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CoupcilmembCr Hoyt and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor ereo : Mayor Davenport. Councilmemhers Hoyt, Nils, Schneider and Threinen The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
