Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
18th day of May , 19,ql . The following members were
present: Acting M-ay`&F-17011s, councilmembers Hot Schneider & Threinen
The following members were absent: Mayor Davenport
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-310
ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A PRELIMINARY REPORT ON
THE IMPROVEMENT OF POND BC -11
WHEREAS, the City's Storm Water Drainage_ Plan includes three ponding areas
designated as Ponds BC-Pll A, B and C :long Plymouth Creek from 26th Avenue
to I-494; and
WHEREAS, because of the proposed development of the Northwest Business Campus,
it is necessary to obtain detailed information concerning these ponding areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the proposed improvement of Pond BC-Pll A, B and C is referred to
Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates for sudy and that the engineers be
instructed to report to the City Council with all convenient speed in a prelimi-
nary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and the estimated
cost of such improvement. The improvement is to include the proposed ponds as
shown in the 1980 Storm Drainage Report, including their outlet structures, but
is not to include storm sewers discharging to the ponding areas.
FURTHER that the cost of the study be paid from the Bassett Creek Storm Sewer
Tax District until the project is ordered an;: other funding is provided.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Acting Mayor Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vo e n favor ereo : Acting Mayor Neils Councilmemherr, Hoyt.
