Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of -
May , 1981 . The following members were present:

Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-307
ACCEPTING PETITION FOR PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
PROPOSED FOX FOREST ADDITION
WHEREAS, the owner of the proposed Fox Forest Addition has petitioned the City
to construct the public improvements on 18th Avenue and Oake•view Lane in and
adjacent to the proposed Fox Forest Addition; and
WHEREAS, it is also in the public interest that 18th Avenue should be improved
from the east line of the addition to West Medicine Lake Drive;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The City Council accepts the petition from the owners of the proposed
Fox Forest Addition for the street, sanitary sewer, watermain and
storm sewer improvements as outlined in the petition.
2. That additional improvements extending 18th Avenue to West Medicine
Lake Drive shall also be included in a preliminary engineering report.
3. That before the report is undertaken, the owner of the Fox Forest
Addition shall submit a letter to the City agreeing to the following:
a. Payment for the cost for the preliminary engineering report
in the event that the project is not ordered.
b. That the developer be responsible for all grading within the
street right-ol-way from Highway 55 to the place where 18th
Avenue is no longer within the plat at approximately 200 feet
west of the east boundary of the plat.
c. The developer would be responsible for all costs associated
with the construction of the intersectir_h at Highway 55, the
connection to Oakview Lane and the construction of 18th Avenue
to the east line of Lot 4, Block 1 of the proposed plat.

3. Continued
d. The developer would be responsible for all of the costs
associated with the construction of the necessary utilities,
including sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer within
the proposed plat.
4. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. is hereby directed to
prepare a study and that they are instructed to resport to the
Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a prelimi-
nary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and the
estimated cost of the improvement. The proposed study shall include
street, sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer and be divided into
the following segments:
Part I - 18th Avenue and Oakview Lane from and including the
Highway 55 intersection to the east line of Lot 4,
Block 1 of the proposed plat.
Part II - From the east line of Part I easterly to the point
where 18th Avenue leaves the proposed plat, which is
approximately 200 feet west of the east line of the
addition.
Part III - From the east end of Part II to West Medicine Lake Drive.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmemoer Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
fol ow ng voted n favor thereof: Acting Mayor Neils. Councilmembers Hoyt.
Schneider & Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: None —
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
