Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 27th day of

RESOLUTION NO. 81- 275
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
1981 UTILITIES AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 1981
Utilities and Street Improvements; and
WHEREAS, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Progressive Contractors, Inc. is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Progressive Contractors, Inc. of
Osseo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
construction of the 1981 Utilities and Street Improvements in the
amount of $522,108.65.

2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall
be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Co u n c i I member__Srjme mb r Srhn ;der , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof:mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt.
Neils. Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
