HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-257CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a REGULAR meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day of — April 19 81 . The following Tmbers, were present: Mayor Davenport, Counci mem ers Hoyt=, lTeils, Schneider and Thre�nen The following members were absent: none Councilmember Hoyt introduced the 6ullowing Resolution and moved ts adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-257 RESOLLITijN APPROVING CONTRACTS FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE DESIGN OF EAST MEDICINE LAKE PARK WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth intends to use the services of consulting engineers to perform professional services in the design of East Medicine Lake Park, and WHEREAS, the Federal LAWCON grant includes funds for engineering and design services, and WHEREAS, Plymouth has entered into agreements with both the Federal and State Governments for the development of East Medicine Lake Park, and WHEREAS, the firm of Bather, Ringrose, Wolsfeld, Jarvis, Gardner, Inc. has successfully completed previous work for the City of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the agreement between owner and engineer/architect for professional services meets the approval of the City Council of Plymouth, Minnesota; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to sign the agreement between the City of Plymouth and Bather, Ringrose, Wolsfeld, Jarvis, Gardner, Inc. for engineering/ architectural services for East Medicine Lake Park at a cost not to exceed $21,800. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly s%conded by Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken therein, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Davenport. Councilmembers Hoyt. The following vdted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
