Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesot was held on the

The following members were absent: None
rgnprilmember Neils introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-256
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONCEPT PLAN FOR SCHMIDT LAKE PARK
WHEREAS, Design Consortium, park consultants for the construction of
three neighborhood parks, has presented concept plans for Schmidt Lake
Park, and
WHEREAS, these plans have been reviewed by the Park and Recreation
Advisory Commission, area residents, and City staff, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the concept plans and found
them in conformance with City requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the concept plans for Schmidt
Lake Park are hereby approved as submitted together with a staff
report dated April 17, 1981, and further directs that Design
Consortium proceed in the preparation of final plans and
specifications for bidding purposes and providing an alternate
design for parking directly off 5Jth Avenue.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Neils Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
