Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was he d on the
6th day of April , 19 81 . The following members
or were present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt, Schneider & Threinen
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-253
A RESOLUITON ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE POLICY RELATING
TO THE CITY'S INSURANCE PROGRAM
WHEREAS, in Resolution 75-212 dated April 28, 1975, the City Council adcpted
a policy relating to the City's insurance program; and
WHEREAS, subsequent changes in the City's insurance program due to statutory
requirements and market conditions have significantly altered the nature of
the City's insurance program since 1975; and
WHEREAS, revisions to the policy relating to the City's insurance program
have been recommended which more comprehensively define the methods through
lk- which a sound, current and economic ins+arance program may be maintained;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Plymouth, that it should and hereby does adopt the revised policy relating
to the City's insurance program dated April 6, 1981.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in falelvIlor thereof: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hnyt,
Schneider & Threinen .
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
