Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the Cit of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
6th day of Apri 1981 . The following members were
present: Mayor Dgvenport.
The following members were absent: uncilmenbpr Neils
CoWn�ilmeMber Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOL! IT ION NO. 81- 236
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A PORTION OF MINNESOTA LANE IN CHRISTIANSEN'S PARKERS LAKE THIRD ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Douglas W. Harvey has petitioned the City
Council for a vacation of the following street:
All that part of Minnesota Lane adjacent to the Southerly side of Lot
1, Block 2 and the Northerly side of Lots 1 and 4, Block 3, Christiansen's
Parkers Lake Third Addition described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, Christiansen's
Parkers Lake Third Addition, then..:e Northwesterly along the Northeasterly
line of said Lot 1, Block 3, a distance of 75 feet; therice Northwesterly
along a tangential curve to the left a distance of 76.96 feet; thence
Westerly along the North line of Lots 1 and 4, Block 3 a distance of
146.2 feet; thence Northeasterly to the intersection of the extended West
and South line of Lot 1, Block 2; thence Easterly along the South line of
Lot 1, Block 2 a distance of 114.35 feet; thence Southeasterly along a
tangential curve to the right a distance of 130.63 feet; thence South to
the point of beginning and there terminating.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said petition and found the same to
be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 4, 1981 at
7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.,
asthe time and place for the public hearing on said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Coun�ilmember_ Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted—in favor thereof: Mayor Davenr)ort, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly -passed and adopted.
