Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re ular meetino of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he7d Fon
6th day of April , 1981 . The following members were
present: Mayor Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: —Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Hoyt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-234
RECEIVING PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - GLEN ECHO LAKE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the property owners requesting installa-
tion of ornamental residential street lighting in the Glen Echo Lake Addition and
adjacent area;
NOW, THER<<ORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Glen Echo Lake Addition by the
installation of residential ornamental street lighting, filed with the City
Council on April 6, 1981, is herewith received.
2. The petition is not signed by 100% of the affected property owners and will
require public improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a
preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Threinen , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor ereo : Ma or Davenport, Councilmer,ters Hoyt,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and adopte
