Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the
6th day of April , 19 81• The following members were
present: Ma or Davenport, Councilmembers Hot Schneider and Threinen
The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 233
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF NO PARKING ANY TIME SIGNS
ON 34TH AVENUE FROM EAST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE TO WELLINGTON LANE
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition from residents representing
eight households along 34th Avenue between East Medicine lake Drive and Wellington
Lane; and
WHEREAS, unreasonable traffic congestion and increased safety hazards have been
caused by parking along 34th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Council seeks to reduce and eliminate such hazards and congestion;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does order the installation of No Parking
Any Time signs on the north and south side of 34th Avenue between East Medicine
Lake Drive and Wellington Lane.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Hoyt and upon vote being taker.u:,beregp. the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor DaverFort,, Councilmembers-Hoyt,
Schneider and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: -none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted-.
