Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetino of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was he d on the
6th day of April , 1981 . The following members were
present: MAyor Davenport.
The following members were absent: Councilmemher Nails
Councilmember Schneider introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81 - 232
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF
ONE NEW 2100 GALLON CAPACITY STREET FLUSHER
WHEREAS, pursuant to Statue Statue, specifications were prepared and public notifi-
cation provided for the solicitation of bids for one new 2100 gallon capacity street
flusher; and
WHEREAS, on March 26, 1981 bids were received for one new 2100 gallon capacity street
flusher as shown below:

Borchert -Ingersoll, Inc.
Bid Security Base Bid
Bid Bond - 5% $44,980.00
Bid Bond - 5% $41,187.00
WHEREAS, following an analysis of both proposals with regard to their performance to
the City's specifications, the Director of Public Works has recommended that the bid
be awarded to Borchert -Ingersoll, Inc. as follows:
Base bid $41,187.00
Add automatic transmission 4,375.00
$45,562.00
Deduct 2 speed axle 320.00
Deduct pressure manhole 225.00
Total $45,017.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does award bid for the purchase of one new 2100
gallon capacity street flusher to Borchert -Ingersoll, Inc. in the amount of $45,017.00
and further directs the City Manager to enter into a contract with Borchert-Ingersull,
Inc. for the purchase and provision of this equipment.
' The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t 'and upon vote being taken thereon, the

and Schneider

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
