HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-216CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of ADri , 19�_. The following members were present: r Davenport A The followingFmembers were absent: Counci'?memher Neils Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-216 A RESOLUTION: APPROVING CONCEPT PLAN FOR TIMBER SHORES PARK WHEREAS, Design Consortium, Park Consultants for the construction of three neighborhood parks, has presented a Concept Plan for Timber Shores Park; and WHEREAS, this plan has been reviewed by the Park and Recreation Advisory Com- mission, City staff and area residents; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Concept Plan and found it to be in conformance with City requirements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Concept Plan for Timber Shores Neighborhood Park is hereby approved as submitted, together with a staff report dated April 3, 1981, and subject to the following conditions: 1. The trail connection to the north exit shall be deleted. 2. The trail shall be rerouted farther south away from the north property line. 3. Ag -lime shall be used from the "Y" in the trail across the earthen dam going west towards Bass Lake. 4. Planting along the north fence line shall be reviewed and increased. 5. A portage shall be provided, if possible, from Lake Ann to Bass Lake. FURTHER, Design Consortium is directed to proceed in the preparation of final plans and specifications for bidding purposes.
