HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1981-215CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of April '1981 . The following members were present: Mayor Davenport, Council mer ers Hoyt�chneider & Threinen The following members were absent: Councilmember Neils Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-215 A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONCEPT PLAN FOR MISSION HILLS PARK WHEREAS, Design Consortium, Park Consultants for the construction of three Neighborhood Parks, has presented a Concept Plan for Mission Hills Park; and WHEREAS, this plan has been reviewed by the Park and Recreation Advisory Com- mission, City staff and area residents; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Concept Plan and found it to be in conformance with City requirements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Concept Ian for Missions Hills Neighborhood Park is hereby approved as submitted, together with a staff report dated April 3, 1981, and subject to the following conditions: 1. The park shelter shall be deleted. 2. Four paved parking stalls shall be provided and proof of parking provided for four additional parking stalls including one for handicapped parking. 3. The ballfield shall be moved from the southwest corner to the northeast corner of the park near the parking lot. 4. A wildlife island shall be included, if possible, in the larger. pond. 5. The tr,iil along Lachary Lane Shall be completed from 36th to 4Jth Avenue. FURTHER, Design Consortium is directed to proceed in the preparation of final plans and specifications for bidding purposes.
