Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rgaWlgr meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was Field on EtHe— 16th day of

The Illowswing members were sent: Mayor Davenport, Councilmember Schneider
Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:
RESOLUTION NO. 81- 188
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
1981 UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council as follows:
1. Project No. 101 - 10th Ave., Carlson 2nd Addition
Resolution No. 80-898; December 15, 1980
2. Project No. 103 - Ridgemount Watermain
Resolution No. 81-112; February 17, 1981
3. Project No. 104 - 19th Avenue
Resolution No. 81-34; January 19, 1981
4. Project 112 - Lost Lake Woods Addition
Resolution No. 81-86; February 2, 1981
5. Project 915 - 45th Ave./Co. Rd. 18 Frontage Road
Resolution No. 81-33; January 19, 1981
the City's consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc.,
has prepared plans and specifications for sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer,
aggregate street base and all necessary appurtenances:

and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and
in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m., Friday, April
10, at which time they will be publicly opened in the Plymouth City Center at
3400 Plymouth Blvd., Plymouth, Minnesota, by the City Manager and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a
cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check payable to the
Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
10 following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Neils, Councilmembers Hoyt
and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
