Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of
March , 19 81. The following members were present:— 97M 'Mayor Neils,
Councilmembers Hoyt andThreinen
Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and moved
its tion:

AWARD OF CONTRACT
PROJECT NO. 111
1980 SANITARY SEWER TV WORK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the following projects:

Project 916 & 943
Project 004
Project 005
Project 007
Project 008
Project 013
49th Avenue
Criterion M.P.U.D.
Fox Glen II
Schiebe's Business Park
51st Avenue
Larch Place
10th Avenue
Pike Lake Trunk
Faber Place
for TV inspection work, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the adversitement:
Viking Pipe Services Co. $3,444.00
PSC/Professional Service Group 4,299.05
Clear Water Research, Inc. 4,305.00
United Sewer Cleaning, Inc. 4,573.90
Solidification, Inc. 4,905.10
Midwest Underground Inspection, Inc. 6,027.00
Novack Construction, Inc. 7,694.70
Donahue & Associates, Inc. 7,749.00
HPI Underwater Contractor 41,250.00
AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Viking Pipe Service Co. is the lowest responsible
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into
the attached contract with Viking Pipe Service Co. for the following
projects:

for TV inspection work according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk
for the low bid amount of $3,444.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a con-
tract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilmember Hoyt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Neils, Councilmembers Hoyt
and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
