Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular neeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, hfinnesota was held on the
16th day of March , 1981 . The following members were
present: Aptina Mayor NeilsoCouncilmembers Hoyt and Threinen
The following members were absent:Mayor Davenport. Counci meTT mber ScFrneider.
Councilmember Threinen introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 81-183
DENYING SUBDIVISION VARIANCE AND LOT CONSOLIDATION/DIVISION FOR JEROME BEGIN
(81009)
WHEREAS, Jerome Begin has requested a subdivision variance to permit consolidation/
division of unplatted land to create three parcels from two existing parcels of
approximately 30 acres located west of I-494 at approximately 55th Avenue North
(extended) in the south one-half of Section 3; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and has recommended
denial;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does deny the request of Jerome Begin for a
subdivision variance to permit consolidation/division of unplatted land located
west of I-494 at approximately 55th Avenue North (extended) in the south one-half
of Section 3 because a basis to grant the variance cannot be established, per
City Code variance criteria.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Ho t , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Neils, Councilmembers
Hoyt and Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
