Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the City Council of the City of Plymouth, innesota was held on the
' 23rd day of _ February , 19 81 . The following memhers were
present: mayor Davenport, ounci memners Fri;, Neils, Schneider b Threinen.

Councilmember Schneider irtroduced the following Resolution and

RESOLUTION NO. 81- 132
APPEALING SUSPENSION OF REVIEW OF CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BY METROPOLITAN
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the submission of the City's updated
Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council on December 15, 1980 pursuant
to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has informed the City in a letter dated
January 29, 1981 that it seeks additional information in order to meet its
review responsibilities under the Act and has therefore suspended the review
of the City's plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council review procedures provide that the City may
appeal the basis for the suspension of the City's plan to the Land Use Advisory
Committee within 30 days of the suspension;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Plymouth appeals the
basis of the suspension of the review of its Comprehensive Plan, by the
Metropolitan Council.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vot in favor thereof: yor Davenport, Councilmembers Hoyt,
Neils, Schneider b Threinen
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and -adopted.
